Born in Bloomington, Illinois, he has been going to the theater ever since he was two months old. Film has been an obsession ever since.

Up until High School it was only a large part of his personality, but when it came to picking a major for Rutgers University, he took a chance on the Film Program at Mason Gross School of Arts and hasn’t regretted it since.

In the past few years his films have premiered at several festivals. Most notably, being selected at the Lesley University Film Festival, alongside filmmaker Sophy Romvari.

Very recently Anshul has also taken an interest in media art, making works that deal with digital degradation. Using his background to not just present beautiful and mesmerizing art, but telling a story in exciting ways in the public space.
